PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a suction body for a vacuum cleaner which makes a rotating cleaning body rotate and remove dust with an electric motor leaves dust in both ends of the rotation cleaning body or is poorly maintained though the dust in the ends can be removed. SOLUTION: While a fixed brush A400 is attached behind a rotating cleaning body 204, a fixed brush B407 is attached from the ends of the fixed brush A400 to near the end of a suction body 306 and a gap between the fixed brush A400 and the fixed brush B407 is arranged so that a rotating cleaning body 204 may be located ahead it.
