PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking apparatus for producing a smoked food that has a flavor in appearance when served to a table and is served to a table and simply eaten immediately after producing the smoked food, smoked food holders and a method for producing a smoked food. SOLUTION: The smoking apparatus is equipped with a partition plate 22 for vertically dividing the inner space of box-shaped body, a horizontal member 30 arranged in the upper space divided by the pertition plate 22 and the smoked food holders 32 that are latched by the horizontal member 30 and composed of basket-like cylinders. A large number of through holes 28 are passed through the partition plate 22, the upper space divided by the partition plate 22 is a smoking chamber 24 to which foodstuffs are fed and the lower space divided by the partition plate 22 is a combustion chamber 26 to which a smoking material 25 is fed. The smoked food holders 32 composed of the basket-like cylinders are filled with straws 36 in the cylinders and the handle sides of skewers 40 with skewered foodstuffs are penetrated into the cylinders.
