PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for reliably transmitting information about an event to a driver. SOLUTION: A high-load position detecting unit 11 detects a high-load position based on map information or the like. Based on high-load position information, and the vehicle velocity, acceleration and the like of a vehicle, a calculating unit 12 calculates the time when the vehicle passes the high-load position. An event information acquisition unit 13 acquires an event based on infrastructure coordination information and the like. A temporary information transmission position calculating unit 14 calculates a temporary information transmission position based on the infrastructure coordination information and the like and the vehicle traveling information. Based on passing-time information and the temporary information transmission position, an information transmission position changing unit 15 determines whether to change the temporary information transmission position.
