PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter for display device, capable of drastically shortening production processes to improve productivity and capable of markedly reducing the production cost, by performing direct coating onto a substrate, without having to interpose a separate transparent support film to form functional layers which respectively function, in particular, a layer which shields electromagnetic waves, a layer which shields near-infrared rays and a layer which corrects color. SOLUTION: The optical filter for display device includes the substrate 310; an electromagnetic-wave shielding coating layer 320 which is directly applied on the upper surface of the substrate 310 and filters electromagnetic waves; and a color-correcting resin coating layer 330 which is applied directly on either side of the lower surface of the substrate and the upper surface of the electromagnetic-wave shielding coating layer 320 and performs color correction, by allowing the color correcting resin coating layer to contain a color correction substance.
