摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce machining time and remove cutter marks from a machined surface by completing unclamping of a rotary axis without stopping machining of a free curved surface. SOLUTION: The numerical controller 10 for a machining tool sets in a setting unit 11 unclamping time required for setting a clamping mechanism of the rotary axis from a clamped state to an unclamped state. A machining program control unit 4 detects a command to start machining of the free curved surface from a series of block data. A block data prefetch unit 12 accumulates block execution times in an execution time counter 14. An unclamping determining unit 15 detects a rotation command to the rotary axis and outputs an unclamping command to a clamping control unit 7 at a time earlier by the unclamping time than the time to start execution of block data including the rotation command.
