The container has a pallet base (1) made of plastic, and a side wall arrangement fixed on the pallet base. A cover made of plastic is fixed on the side wall arrangement or on the pallet base, where the pallet base comprises a circulating supporting edge (4) and downward formed legs (3) in corner areas of the pallet base. The supporting edge is laterally and outwardly protruded over the legs. A supporting corner (5) is fixed at an outer side of each leg, and is upwardly supported at the supporting edge. The pallet base is formed as a double-shell plastic body. The supporting corner is made of plastic in an injection molding process.
