<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and/or an ophthalmological device simplifying computation and adaptation of a contact lens. <P>SOLUTION: The method for measuring and selecting the contact lens by the ophthalmological device for optometry including a cornea measuring instrument, an automatic refractometer and further a data processing means, includes measuring the refractive power of the eye and topography of a cornea to obtain refraction data that describes the refraction of the eye to be examined and to obtain topography data that describes the topography of the cornea of the eye, computing contact lens data with the obtained refraction and topography data, and selecting the contact lens from a database of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
