<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting construction for an optical module, which permits reliable and easy mounting on an electrical circuit board and is highly reliable. <P>SOLUTION: The optical module M1 includes a plurality of optical elements 3 connected to at least a connection terminal 2 and one end portion of an optical wave guide body 5 for optically coupling to the plurality of the optical elements 3, which are disposed on a flat substrate 1 having the connection terminal 2 for driving optical elements on one end thereof. The optical module M1 is coupled to a connector portion S1 for driving optical elements, which is mounted on the electrical circuit board, wherein a connection terminal 12 of the connector portion S1 and the connection terminal 2 of the optical module M1 are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
