PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the optimum amount of data in accordance with a kind of conference in consideration of network conditions of communication in the electronic conference system.

SOLUTION: In the electronic conference system where a plurality of communication terminals and a distribution management server are connected through the network and data communication is executed for conference among the communication terminals, the communication terminal includes a transmitting means for transmitting receiving-quality information and conference attribute information including information showing a kind of conference to the distribution management server, while the distribution management server includes a receiving means 101 for receiving the receiving-quality information and conference attribute information, a storing means 106 for storing the receiving-quality information and the quality management information related to a compression parameter of data for each data showing the kind of conference, a distribution management control means 100 for acquiring the compression parameter from the quality management information based on the received receiving-quality information and information showing the kind of conference, and a transmitting means 101 for transmitting the acquired compression parameter to the communication terminal.
