<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide galactooligosaccharides that allow to proliferate Lactobacillus casei strain YIT 9029 having various biologically profitable effects with high selectivity and have higher indigestibility, or its derivative. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a proliferation promoter for Lactobacillus casei strain YIT 9029 (FERM BP-1366) including a reduced galactooligosaccharide represented by formula (I): Gal-Gal-Sor (wherein Gal denotes a galactose residue and Sor denotes a sorbitol residue, respectively) as an active ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
