<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift-lock mechanism for a vehicular automatic transmission shifter, which miniaturizes the entire shifter by miniaturizing a solenoid. <P>SOLUTION: The shift-lock mechanism includes a lock member 90, a solenoid 100 having a plunger 102, and a locking arm 94. The plunger 102 is projectingly moved to the position inside the path across the movable path of the locking arm from the position outside the path retracted outside the movable path of the locking arm 94 to be locked with the locking arm 94 when a change lever 4 is engaged in a parking range, and depressingly moved to the position outside the path from the position inside the movable path to be unlocked from the locking arm 94 when a brake pedal is stepped on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
