PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve thinning by shortening the length of the optical axis direction of an imaging device including an operation ring. SOLUTION: This imaging device includes the operation ring 2 that is inserted outside a lens barrel 3 and is rotatable, an annular member 22 rotating integrally with the operation ring 2, a detecting means 42 for detecting the rotating direction and rotation amount of the annular member 22, and a click mechanism 41 for generating click feeling at equal intervals in the rotation direction of the operation ring 2 when the operation ring 2 is rotated.
