PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of content playback due to increase of loads of a content distribution server and deterioration of communication performance of a communication terminal. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 10 is provided with: a communication part 150 which transmits content to the communication terminal 20 connected via a network; and a control part 140 which controls transmission of the content by the communication part 150, wherein the control part 140 transmits a first file including the content for time corresponding to communication impossible time of the communication terminal 20 according to a transmission request of the content from the communication terminal 20, and transmits a second file to be transmitted next to the first file at transmission scheduled time obtained by adding the communication impossible time of the communication terminal 20 to the transmission time of the first file.
