PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive with a low refractive index that has a low refractive index and excellent adhesion and transparency. SOLUTION: The adhesive with a low refractive index contains a matrix resin and porous hollow resin particles. The matrix resin is an acrylic resin, and the porous hollow resin particle has an average pore diameter of 100 nm or less. Also, the refractive index n<SB>A</SB>of the matrix resin and the refractive index n<SB>B</SB>of the porous hollow resin particle satisfy the relation of formula (1)¾n<SB>A-</SB>n<SB>B</SB>¾≤0.01.
