PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve formation of filter strands of the cigarette processing industries from filter segments. SOLUTION: There is provided equipment comprising a strand flow-in hole (2) for supplying filter segments to a strand molding unit (4) covering the filter segments with a covering material belt (5) and a closing device (6) closing the covering material belt (5) and forming filter segments for cigarette processing industries from filter segments (3), especially, forming multifilter segments from filter segments (3) having at least partially carbon particles and/or granules, wherein, a suction device (8) set in front of the closing device (6) for sucking air from a periphery of the filter segments is installed.
