Disclosed is a wireless base station (eNB) provided with: a synchronisation signal transmission section (10) constructed so as to transmit a synchronisation signal including a cell ID allocated to cell No.1 which is under control of the wireless base station (eNB); a notification information transmission section (11) constructed so as to transmit notification information including a pseudo-cell ID allocated to cell No.1; and an RS transmission section (14) constructed so as to transmit a CRS (first reference signal) which is uniquely determined by the cell ID, and so as to transmit a PRS (second reference signal) which is uniquely determined by the pseudo-cell ID. The range of values which can be allocated as pseudo-cell IDs is configured to be larger than the range of values which can be allocated as cell IDs.
