A method and a system for sending channel measurement pilot frequency are provided. The method includes: in a sending period, sending the channel measurement pilot frequency of each channel in a sub-frame or in two neighboring sub-frames, and sending repeatedly the channel measurement pilot frequency of each channel, taking the predetermined composing cell as a unit, in a full bandwidth and at an equal interval.
