<p>PURPOSE: A mouse having a multi touch pad and a control method thereof for combining a mouse body with the multi touch pad are provided to perform a new function, such as character recognition, by enabling the combined use of the mouse and the multi touch pad. CONSTITUTION: A mouse body combines a control button(10) and a wheel button(20). A position sensing unit(30) is combined in the lower part of the mouse. A multi-touch pad(40) recognizes a plurality of touched points. A memory unit(50) stores information about the position sensing unit. A control unit(60) generates operation result information. A transmission unit(70) transmits a signal generated from the control unit to a computer.</p> |
