<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the steering responsiveness of steering wheels, in a steering control device including two independent steering mechanisms not mutually interfering each other. <P>SOLUTION: The steering control device comprises: a reaction force motor ECU 50 which computes a target steering angle of steering wheels 11L, 11R; steering angle sensors 3 that detect actual steering angles of the steering wheels 11L, 11R; a steering command current calculation part that calculates a drive current value based on the difference between the target steering angle and actual steering angle; a steering current distribution calculation part that distributes the drive current value to a first and second motor drive current values that respectively drive the first and second steering motor 32, 43; a first and second steering motor ECUs 60, 70 that drive, for control, the first steering motor 32 based on the first motor drive current value, and the second steering motor 43 based on the second motor drive current value; a response delay compensation current calculation part that corrects and increases the first motor drive current value based on the difference between the target steering angle and the actual steering angle; and an adder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
