<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system having simple construction for actualizing smooth insertion of lamp pins into lamp pin fixing holes in the bottom face of the recess of a socket while avoiding great deviation of the rotational axis of a lamp when rotated in an instable attitude so as to be mounted into the socket. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system includes the lamp having a pair of lamp pins protruded on the front end face of the base, and the socket having the pair of lamp pin fixing holes with terminals into which the lamp pins are rotationally inserted to be electrically connected to the socket. When the lamp pins are electrically connected via the lamp pin fixing holes to the socket, the lamp pins are rotated on the bottom face of the socket with the rotation of the lamp relative to the socket to find the lamp pin fixing holes while avoiding great deviation of the rotational axis of the lamp when rotated being guided around the base of the rotating lamp by the inner wall face of the bottomed approximately cylindrical recess. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
