PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative particulate composite which exhibits improved effects of active components possessed by the innovative particulate composite being kept for a long period of time.

SOLUTION: The particulate composite includes a porous carrier of amorphous SiO2having an averaged particle diameter of 3-50μm and a specific surface area of 50-550 m2/g and at least one external coat material, wherein the external coat material releases active substances following its activation in the oral cavity and/or the composite particle further includes at least one active substance.
