PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a user's operational load of acquiring printed matter and efficiently produce printed matter desired by the user without wasting printed matter from other printers when a predetermined event occurs in an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 capable of making data communication with at least one printer through a network acquires a print job and executes the print job to produce printed matter. When a predetermined event occurs in the image forming apparatus 1, a first print preview image based on the execution of the print job in the image forming apparatus 1 and a second print preview image based on the execution of the print job in the other printer are acquired, and the first and second print preview images are output.
