<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content retrieval device capable of adjusting retrieval rank by responding to rapid rise of degree of notice of a specific keyword. <P>SOLUTION: This content retrieval device for retrieving contents from a retrieval index database based on the retrieval query received from a user terminal unit includes a comparison index computing means for computing comparison indexes based on the number of fluctuations being computed by subtracting the number of received retrieval queries per unit time before receiving the retrieval queries from the total number of received retrieval queries per unit time and a rate of fluctuation being computed by dividing the total number of received retrieval queries per unit time by the number of received retrieval queries per unit time before receiving the former retrieval queries, a weighting adjusting means for increasing weighting related to freshness showing shortness of elapsed time from the time when this device receives contribution of the contents more as the comparison index becomes higher with respect to the content, and a content retrieving means for retrieving the contents from the retrieval index database based on weighting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
