PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, and the like, for obtaining proper transmission characteristics, without having to add a CP (cyclic prefix) length larger than normal, in uplink cooperative communication. SOLUTION: A communication system including a mobile station for transmitting data signal and a plurality of base stations for receiving data signal transmitted by the mobile station is includes, as the base station, at least one first base station provided with a first signal detection unit for detecting the data signal transmitted by the mobile station; and at least respectively one second base station provided with a second signal detection unit for detecting a data signal received by the second base station, by using the result of the detection of the data signal transmitted by the mobile station by the first base station.
