PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compress the quantity of data for the variation period by adding the detailed variation period to the basic variation period as a base in the calculation of the variation period for the game involved. SOLUTION: The main CPU specifies a distribution data while selecting one distribution table from among a plurality of those tables according to the results of a jackpot lottery instead of one to one correspondence between the varying patterns and the variation periods. In this process, the main CPU specifies not only the basic variation period based on the sixth offset value corresponding to the distribution data but also the detailed variation period based on the fifth offset value (second processing data) corresponding to the distribution data to calculate the variation period for a symbol variable game to be currently executed by adding the basic variation period to the detailed variation period. Thus, the variation period for the symbol variable game can be calculated without the varying patterns and the variation periods stored in one to one correspondence, thereby enabling the inhibiting of an extra growth in the capacity of data.
