<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a personal authentication medium having an excellent falsification-preventing function and having an easily truth-determining image. <P>SOLUTION: In the personal authentication medium which has at least a base material, a first personal authentication information display part color-displaying first personal authentication information, a second personal authentication information display part constituted of a plurality of cells each having a diffraction grating and displaying second personal authentication information, and an adhesive layer and a protective layer; the adhesive layer is layered on one surface of the base material; the first personal authentication display part and the second personal authentication information part are on the adhesive layer on the base material; and the protective layer is layered on the surface having at least one of the adhesive layer, the first personal authentication information display part, and the second personal authentication information display part.
