PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical terminal device that facilitates responding to various use forms of an optical transmission system in each subscriber's house. SOLUTION: The optical terminal device includes a dedicated notice broadcast signal output terminal T1, a common reception signal output terminal T2, and a notice broadcast signal output changeover switch 34, outputs a notice broadcast signal from the dedicated notice broadcast signal output terminal T1 regardless of a power feeding mode or no power feeding mode if a received optical signal is an optical signal modulated with a high frequency signal including the notice broadcast signal when the notice broadcast signal output changeover switch 34 is in a first state, and outputs the notice broadcast signal from the common reception signal output terminal T2 regardless of the power feeding mode or no power feeding mode if the received optical signal is the optical signal modulated with the high frequency signal including the notice broadcast signal when the notice broadcast signal output changeover switch 34 is in a second state.
