PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pickling a titanium sheet by which the generation amount of NOx gas is suppressed, and further, uniform pickling for the upper and lower faces of a titanium sheet can be achieved. SOLUTION: In the method where, making both the faces of a titanium sheet 1 as the upper and lower faces 1a, 1b, respectively, the sheet is continuously passed through to a pickling bath 2 comprising nitric acid, a block member 4 is made close to the titanium sheet 1 so as to cover the upper face of the titanium sheet 1 to be passed and is installed into the pickling bath 2, the generation amount of NOx gas is suppressed, and further, the pickling speed of the upper and lower faces 1a, 1b in the titanium sheet 1 is uniformized as well.
