PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer container having a gas-barrier property and transparency suitable for a packaging material of the kind of food that requires heat sterilization. SOLUTION: The multi-layer container has a structure of three or more layers laminated in sequence from an inner layer to an outer layer: a layer (X) composed mainly of polypropylene, an adhesive layer (Y) formed of adhesive thermoplastic resin, and a gas barrier layer (Z) formed of a polyamide resin composition (P) while the polyamide resin composition (P) comprising the polyamide resin composition (M) of 80 to 99.9 mass% which is composed of: polyamide resin (A) of 60 to 90 mass% having diamine unit including 70 mol% or more of a metaxylenediamine unit and a dicarboxylic acid unit including 70 mol% or more of an adipic acid unit; and a polyhexamethylene terephthalate amide/polyhexamethylene isophthalate amide copolymer (B) of 40 to 10 mass%, and aliphatic polyamide resin (C) of 20 to 0.1 mass%.
