The unit has an elastic foil body (10) for covering a portion of a patient`s mouth region, and elastic clamping pieces (30,40) such as intra oral and/or extra oral clamping pieces. The foil body comprises an opening through which the clamping pieces are placed over and are relocatable against the opening. The largest clearance width of the opening is greater than the smallest clearance width of the foil body.
