<p>The invention relates to preparations comprising a wax with polymer particles contained therein, wherein the polymer particles contain at least one effect material, obtained by distributing at least one effect material in polymer particles by way of a mini-emulsion polymerization process carried out in the presence of a solvent that is immiscible in the wax, and by incorporating the so obtained polymer particle dispersion into a wax by way of phase transfer. The invention further relates to compositions comprising a polymer matrix containing said polymer particles distributed substantially homogeneously therein, said compositions obtained by incorporating the wax containing said polymer particles into a polymer matrix.</p> |
