PURPOSE: A one-way torque limiter is provided to effectively perform a torque limiting function in one direction by using a ratchet unit. CONSTITUTION: A one-way torque limiter comprises a shaft(10), a cover unit(20), a torque limiting unit(30), and a ratchet unit(40). The shaft is rotated around a rotary shaft and has multiple first mounting holes(11). The mounting holes accept multiple balls. The cover unit has multiple second mounting grooves(21) for accepting the balls. When the balls are mounted in the second mounting grooves, the cover unit receives the torque of the shaft. The torque limiting unit maintains the position of the balls mounted in the second mounting grooves by pressing the shaft. When excessive torque is applied to the shaft, the torque limiting unit idles the shaft by separating the balls from the second mounting grooves.
