PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of intuitively grasping a direction and an amount of tilting. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10, to which a lens barrel 20 with a tilting function can be attached is provided with an image pickup device 11 which images object light made incident from the lens barrel 20; and a display part 16 which considers image information, based on an image which the object light forms on the image pickup device 11 as first image information C, when a tilting amount of the lens barrel 20 with the tilting function is zero, considers image information, based on the image which the object light forms on the image pickup device 11 as second image information Bf, G; and at the same time, displays the first image information C, the second image information Bf, G, when the tilting amount of the lens barrel 20 with the tilting function is not zero.
