PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in white balance processings, when making an intention regarding color temperature reflect on an image. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a first calculating means for determining the correction value of white balance of an image; a designating means for receiving a designated value for adjusting a correction value, in a direction along a black body radiation curve in a chromaticity diagram having a first axis and a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; a storing means for storing adjustment information, in which a plurality of designated values are respectively associated with a plurality of first adjustment amounts along the first axis; and a correcting means for deciding a first adjustment amount along the first axis by a designated value and adjustment information received by the designating means, deciding a second adjustment amount according to the correction value and the first adjustment amount, such that a distance from the black body radiation curve of the correction value in the chromaticity diagram is maintained at a fixed level, adjusting the correction values, in a direction along the black body radiation curve, according to the first adjustment amount and the second adjustment amount, and correcting white balance of the image according to the correction value adjusted.
