PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater capable of easily installing a hot water storage tank unit even in a narrow place and being easily check and repaired. SOLUTION: In configuring the storage water heater provided with the hot water storage tank unit 50 having a pipe connecting part 42 for connecting an external pipe, in an outer case 30 receiving a hot water storage tank 40, the pipe connecting part is disposed on a bottom part 10 of the outer case, a skirt part SP covering the entire bottom part and the pipe connecting part from a side part to conceal the pipe connecting part and its periphery, is disposed on a barrel part 15 between the bottom part and a top panel part 20, and a front panel part 11 capable of being opened to expose the pipe connecting part, is included.
