PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type clutch mechanism capable of securing a sufficient adjustment amount while holding an outer wire by an outer receiving member, and capable of suitably performing belt transmission in accordance with extension of a belt with a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The belt type clutch mechanism includes: a belt transmission device 31 having a tension clutch 35 stretching/loosening the belt 34 stretched over a driving pulley 28 and a driven pulley 33; and a clutch operating device 31a turning the tension clutch 35 by stretching/loosing an inner wire 42a provided in the outer wire 42b fixed on both ends thereof to a machine body side, and connecting/disconnecting power of the belt transmission device 31. The clutch operating device 31a is positioned and fixed to the machine body, and the outer receiving member 52 is extended to the clutch operating device 31a, and movement of the outer receiving member 52 is adjustable with respect to the clutch operating device 31a.
