PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system capable of quickly diagnosing failure of the system. SOLUTION: An FI-ECU (Fuel Injection-Electronic Control Unit) 50 of this fuel supply system 1 determines success in starting of an engine by a power source control unit 10 based of output from the power source control unit 10 and a detection result of a rotation sensor, and outputs a first command signal for setting a first pump 70 in a first mode when starting the engine, a second command signal for setting the first pump 70 in a second mode when determining that starting of the engine fails in the first mode and a third command signal for setting the first pump 70 in a third mode after the second mode, as a command signal, and diagnoses the failure of the system by using a kind of the command signals and a state signal from an FPC (Fuel Pump Controller) 60.
