PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of socks fastening the root part of the toes when wearing the socks so as to massage the toes and produce a fatigue preventing effect, and reducing difficulty of inserting the toes into toe bags when wearing the socks, caused by fastening the toe base part so as to facilitate insertion of the toes into the toe bags. SOLUTION: This pair of socks is such that a nail part T having toe bags to insert the toes thereinto is arranged on the end of a knitted fabric cylindrically knitted with a flat knitting machine, the knitted fabric of the toe bag base part is plating knitted by a yarn with high fastening force and a yarn with smoothness so as to cause the yarn with smoothness to appear in the inside of the toe bag, and insertion of the toes into the toe bags is facilitated by a yarn fixing the toe base part and having smoothness.
