PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition which provides comfortable feeling of use by improving foaming during use and viscosity of its preparation, has an improved conditioning effect such as improvement of smoothness of damaged hair, and does not make the hair stuffy even when the cosmetic composition is used repeatedly. SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition contains cation-modified glucomannan whose amount of cationic charge and molecular weight are limited respectively to specific ranges, a cationic polymer having limited amount of cationic charge, a detersive surfactant, and a silicone derivative. The defects are corrected by the cosmetic composition in which the compounding ratio of the surfactant to the silicone derivative is limited to a specific ratio. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
