PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction driving mechanism which prevents an increase in a space as the whole of a conveying device, improves maintainability while reducing cost by reducing an increase in an installation space, even if the number of driving rollers is increased, and reduces a wiring space for a driving power source and controls. SOLUTION: This friction driving mechanism 100 conveys and drives a conveyed object by pressing the rotated and driven driving rollers 111 and 121 on the conveyed object. One driving roller 111, of the pair of front and rear driving rollers 111 and 121 on a conveying passage, is rotated and driven by a driving motor 131, while the other driving roller 121 is rotated and transmitted from the one driving roller 111 to a belt 133.
