PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring/defoaming apparatus wherein the position of its weight can easily and quickly be adjusted. SOLUTION: The stirring/defoaming apparatus including a container 4 for storing an object to be treated, a table 5 turnably holding the container 4 which is constructed to be rotatable thereon and to be revolvable by turning the table 5, a weight 8 disposed on the table 5 to balance weight relative to the weight of the container 4 wherein an object to be treated is stored, in accordance with the turning of the table 5, and a changing means 18 of changing the position of the weight 8 to balance weight relative to the weight of the container 4 according to the weight thereof, with the changing means 18 including a guiding member 19 for moving/guiding the weight 8 on the table 5 and a driving mechanism 20 for moving the weight 8, is characterized in that the driving mechanism 20 for moving the weight 8 includes a turnable handle 21 constructed in a turnable manner and a converting mechanism 22 for converting the operational force of turning the turnable handle 21 into the force of moving the weight 8.
