PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of avoiding the problem, wherein at mated connection with a counter connector, the male terminal fitting of the counter connector is deformed due to misinsertion, and is also capable of simplifying the structure of the forming die of a connector housing. SOLUTION: When a female terminal fitting 23 is inserted into a terminal housing portion 35 of an inner housing 37 locked with an outer housing 33 at a temporary locking position, the front end of the female terminal fitting 23 is guided by an inclined guiding portion 53 inside the terminal housing portion 35 to project from an opening 55 of the terminal housing portion 35 and abut against an elastic pressing piece 61 of the outer housing 33, to be pushed back by the elastic pressing piece 61, and thereby the female terminal fitting 23 is locked with a coming-off preventing boss 51.
