PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which has a sufficient sealing function, can save space in fitting width without deteriorating a fitting force, and can get rid of concern of parting, regarding a lid-like sealing device which is attached to an opening of a housing to cover the opening. SOLUTION: The sealing device includes a metal sealing device body and a rubber-like elastic body. The sealing device body is integrally structured with a disk-like lid part, an inner peripheral cylindrical part, an inverted part, an outer peripheral cylindrical part, and a flange part. The rubber-like elastic body has a flange-attaching part attached to the flange part of the sealing device body. The sealing device is metal fitted to a housing by fitting the outer peripheral cylindrical part of the metal sealing device body to the inside circumferential surface of an opening with a predetermined fitting width. Then, a gap between the sealing device body and the housing is sealed by allowing the flange-attaching part of the rubber-like elastic body to closely contact the outer end surface of the housing.
