The fluid dynamic bearing has a fixed shaft (12), which defines a rotational axis (14), a bearing component (30) with a bearing surface (30a) and another bearing component (130) with another bearing surface (130a). The bearing components are arranged in a mutual axial distance to the shaft. A rotor component (16) is provided with two bearing surfaces (16a,116a), which cooperate with the two bearing surfaces of the bearing components. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a spindle motor with a stator; and (2) a hard disk drive with a storage disk.
