<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device which enables the carrying-in and installation operations at site to be efficiently performed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator device is formed by unitizing a damper base 1, dampers 15, 16, and guide rails 6 on the lowermost stage which are installed in a pit of the hoistway of an elevator, and a lower frame 9, an emergency stop device 8, and guide shoes 14 which are attached to the lower side of a car when delivered from a factory, and carried into an installation site.
