<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make shutter speed higher inexpensively, and to drive a shutter blade in a form capable of easily correcting the lowering of an ambient light quantity on a picked-up image. <P>SOLUTION: An upper shutter blade 3 and a lower shutter blade 5 are devised in terms of blade shape so that their portions 3o and 5o that cover the vicinity of the center of an aperture W start to shield the aperture W from light preceding to their portions 3c and 5c that cover the vicinities of four corners when shielding the aperture W from light, whereby their portions facing the aperture W travel reversely to each other in a direction perpendicular to long sides Wa of the aperture W opposed to each other in such a state that they are parallel with the long sides Wa of the aperture W.
