PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which prevents large fluctuation of a light axis direction in the vertical direction during acceleration/deceleration of a vehicle, while preventing complication by frequent changes of the light axis direction of a headlight in the vehicle. SOLUTION: When a driver of the vehicle acquires a detection result of an effect of a changing operation to impart a change in speed or acceleration to the vehicle in this light control device (S301:YES or S311:YES), a filter with good responsiveness is set to be used or not to be used, as compared with a case where the changing operation is not acquired (S304 or S314). Then, the inclination of the vehicle to be changed by acceleration or deceleration can be detected in advance. Before the inclination of the vehicle is changed, the filter determining the responsiveness, when changing the light axis direction, can be changed to quickly change the light axis direction or the filter can be changed not to be used.
