<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass filler excellent in heat resistance and insulation reliability, a method for manufacturing the same, and also a prepreg applied to an electronic material containing the glass filler. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the glass filler comprises the steps of wet pulverizing a raw material glass having a composition of a CaO content of≥0.1 mass% in a water solvent to fabricate a slurry, adding a silane coupling agent to the slurry while keeping a pH of≥8, and heating and drying the obtained slurry at≥80°C and≤400°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
