PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite composition in which metal oxide particulates are positively dispersed in a polyaddition-type polymerizable monomer using a surface modifier, and to provide an optical plastic product. SOLUTION: Pentaerythritol tetrakis (PEMP) was used as the polymerizable monomer, and anatase type titanium oxide having an average primary particle size of about 7 nm was used as finely divided titanium oxide as the metal oxide particulates. A substance having the structural formula represented by the formula was used as the surface modifier. The surface modifier in which the titanium oxide was dispersed by a predetermined recipe and PEMP were stirred, mixed with each other, and cured to obtain a transparent plastic.
