PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when a recording device, such as an IC recorder, is prepared in addition to an imaging device, recording and imaging can be separately performed, however, another apparatus is needed to associate the imaging data with the recording data by extracting the data from both recording media. SOLUTION: In the imaging device with a recording function, when separated recording section 3 and imaging section 2 are connected, an imaging microcontroller 21 generates association data for associating voice data which is recorded in a recording buffer memory 35, with image data recorded in a recording section 26, to be recorded. Thereby, no additional equipment is required for associating the image data recorded in the recording section 26, with the recording data recorded in the recording buffer memory 35.
